Stay tuned! You’ll be receiving some emails in your inbox soon with details, which will also be posted here. We will have information for you on parking, lunch options, our schedule of speakers/performers, and more!
Please plan your day with the limited parking in mind. The earlier you arrive, the easier it will be to find parking. If you can, we recommend carpooling with other attendees. Find out where to park and how to get to the event via the parking map. Parking will be available at the Convention Center with entrances on Peckham Lane and Kietzke Lane. VIP Parking is available for VIP pass holders in front of the RSCC off Virginia Street.
In order to lower this year’s ticket prices, lunch is not included as part of the conference. Here are many of the options in and around the Convention Center, ready to accommodate you during the 80-minute lunch break.
We expect to start opening remarks promptly at 8:45 a.m. with our first speaker on stage at 9 a.m. Because speakers and performers take varying amounts of time to complete their talks and performances, we cannot say the exact timing of breaks and commencement. We expect each session to take roughly 90-110 minutes, and we will aim to be done around 3:30 p.m.
TEDxUniversityofNevada 2019 is all sold out, but we are still selling student tickets! Student tickets are available to students of any school, in person at the Nevada Wolf Shop on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Sales are limited to one ticket per valid student ID (must present ID to verify student status).
As a presenting sponsor of TEDxUniversityofNevada, Greater Nevada Credit Union is providing University students who are GNCU members a $25 reimbursement for their TEDxUniversityofNevada tickets. Just stop by the GNCU University branch at 1385 N. Virginia Street across from campus by March 15. Present your TEDx 2019 name badge and student ID, and GNCU will deposit $25 into your share savings account. Please visit gncu.org for more information about the offer and about becoming a GNCU member.
This year, Custom Ink is offering TEDxUniversityofNevada shirts and sweaters for sale in support of the Children’s Cabinet’s youth program, Cabinet Ink, a program that teaches invaluable skills on how to run a business from the ground up. All proceeds from shirt sales will go directly to their initiatives to provide hands-on working opportunities to at-risk youth. Buy your shirt online and pick it up at the conference.
